Ripping video from youtube is easy. Ripping video from anywhere is possible, if user can see it, he can save it; even if it would be capturing it playing on monitor with cell phone camera.
Your best bet is to make video really yours in term of branding (you mentioned your nick several times ... any plagiator would have to cut it away or dub over it.) You can add "tv station logo" to corner. Etc etc ... Eventually making it easier to make new video than to try steal yours. If people would copy it as it is, your credit will be preserved, if they try to get around it, they will produce shitty video...

I agree, watermarking would do a big difference in preventing people from stealing your work. I enjoyed the video. Hope to see more.

if you record stuff with the registered/paid for version of gamecam i believe you can have it record with your own watermark on top, that way can still use windows movive maker.
nice video, gives a bit of insight to those that don't know anything about gvg, which may bring more players across

That was quite enjoyable to watch.
But even with the YouTube HQ, I was hoping for higher quality to see clearly what was going on. Get high enough quality and you certainly wouldn't need to say the player names as people would be able to read them from the screen.

Nice commentary, but you should know that worrying about people stealing your work doesn't apply to the video. That is entirely owned and copyright by ArenaNet and NCSoft. I think the audio commentary is copyright to you. I enjoyed the commentary, but the video quality leaves much to be desired, even in "high quality." That's a limitation on YouTube's part, however, through no fault of your own.

I lol'ed at how "KMD has never won a GvG before"
Over all, great work. The game needs more people like this who really try and stir up some excitement.

It was a very nice video. Too bad dP didn't bring their A-game, otherwise it would have been more interesting.

it didn't matter whether dP brought their A-game or not. the deciding factor was almost purely their build choice: hex pressure gets pwned by a teleporting rainbowspike. oh, and they didn't have infuse from what i could tell. that by itself means autolose.

No, Monk 2 had Infuse... they were just being killed too much to notice it... if you watch in the Blue Guild Hall part (half way) when there is a pressure on Monk 1, there was an infuse from Monk 2 -> Monk 1 before the D-Pact Kill.
BTW, LoL at the toon strip from pig

Asp made that and a load of other comic strips.
They're all on QQ and most of them are really good.
You do need to know the people to find them funny though.

I enjoyed the video. It made the match more interesting than just watching the replay.
A couple things though, for possible future videos:
- Commentators are always supposed to talk. You had a couple pauses there before the match. Fill them in with something. Any information about the players, teams, point of the features of this particular guild hall. Just not silence.
- Try to spoil the ending less. You said at least three times that KMD "might" win their first gold cape and never said anything similar about the other team :P
